My fascination with fashion design was always related to its union of artistry and craftsmanship, which led me to study its intricacies at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, where I founded the successful Berlin fashion label Steinrohner alongside Caroline Rohner. Right after graduation, we qualified for multiple renowned competitions such as the "Premium Young Designers Award", "International Woolmark Prize", and "European Design Award", among others.

Ever since my beginnings, I have been inspired by a strong female silhouette and the endless and timeless possibilities of textile structures, and I love using analog drawing techniques such as watercolours, ink, and coloured pencils as tools to translate my vision.

Additionally, I have illustrated commission-based projects and works that stemmed from collaborations, such as the online store Fashion ID in the framework of Berlin Fashion Week, Villeroy & Boch as well as for the exhibition "Uli Richter Revisited" at the Museum of Decorative Arts , among others.

Thanks to the support of the Berlin Senate, we organized numerous shows of our fashion brand as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. During this time, I supervised the development of 90-piece collections, with textile prints being at the centre of our creations, which we developed from photographs, collages as well as my own drawings.

As Steinrohner, we became protégées of the Fashion Council Germany and the H&M Fellowship Program from September 2017 to January 2019, which enabled us to experience numerous visits to the design department, production facilities, hands-on seminars, and bespoke coaching.

During the 4-week stay at the head office of H&M Germany, we gained comprehensive insights into the multi-faceted work processes involved in building and successfully maintaining a large company and brand.

This experience was followed by us winning the "Vote for Fashion Award" organized by KaDeWe Berlin, which made us showcase our collection at the famous luxury department store.

Our paths as a fashion label have parted since, and I began to crave to carve my own path in the fashion world and industry. Illustration has always been an intrinsic part of my work and has always complemented my work as a designer.
